I am a marketing communications specialist who has worked both agency side at BBH as an Account Manager (for Tesco and Audi) and most currently client side at Just Eat as a Campaign Planner. My experience in marcomms led me to launch my own brand for female travellers, "Girls that Wander". Girls that Wander is a project I have started to create an inclusive community for female travellers from all walks of life to feel inspired, empowered and equipped with knowledge to step of their comfort zone. Primarily on Instagram, I have grown my organic following from 0 to 64,000 in less than a year with a niche audience of (primarily) females, aged 18-34 who are very passionate about travelling. The aim is to grow this into an exciting online publication with co-created articles, stories and local tips for our audience. I am currently monetizing this platform with brand partnerships, selling advertising space and promoted features. I pride myself in going above and beyond to make things happen. Key strengths of mine include being organised, a fast learner and I am able to adapt quickly. My colleagues consider me to be a strong team player and I enjoy building genuine internal/external relationships in order to deliver projects effectively. My experience to date spans across national integrated advertising campaigns, CRM and retail campaigns (in-store POS for FMCG). I enjoy delving into the customer journey, leading projects, managing budgets and maximising ROI. The experience I have gained so far has provided me with an invaluable understanding of the importance of managing expectations, paying attention to detail and delivering excellent customer service. Client: Audi (May 2016 - Present) I currently report into an account director and senior account manager to deliver integrated and CRM focused campaigns for the Audi account. I have built strong relationships with Audi marketing clients to deliver a range of CRM and national campaigns including: direct mail, email campaigns, POS, radio, digital, local press and OOH. On a day-to-day basis I manage BTL integrated campaigns from client briefing to final execution. I am responsible for my own briefings, budgets, supplier relationships and deadlines. Current work I have led includes; Q Event 2017, Q2 and all-new A5 Launch Campaigns and leading Audi's email re-design project. Client: Tesco (July 2015 - May 2016) I joined the Tesco account when it just landed at BBH and helped to embed it into the agency. I worked closely with a team of account managers and provided support across a range of campaigns for the delivery of high-quality, creative POS in-store. I also worked closely with the Tesco account team in London to ensure seamless integration across campaigns including print, TV and social. When settled into my role, I was responsible for small briefs from start to finish with the support of my line manager.
TVbeat (http://tvbeat.com) is a TV analytics SaaS start up that uses cutting edge technology to collect, process, merge and present census TV viewership data in real time. My role as marketing and PR manager included, - Writing B2B press releases & distributing releases to trade and national media - Creating engaging content for TVbeat’s social media channels - Being the "go to" contact for the arrangement of meetings, calls and external opportunities - Tracking TVbeat's online presence using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Alerts - Copywriting for website and other publications, making sure all messaging is consistent - Constructing thought-leadership pieces for relevant publications and journalists - Writing and designing the monthly newsletter and sending to all relevant contacts - Liaising with journalists in the industry on ideas for stories - Constructing questions and answers for panel/speaking opportunities - Travelling to Slovenia and Croatia when necessary
