Having moved from Kristiansand to San Francisco to Falmouth I love immersing myself in new environments and I would love to work somewhere that challenges me. I am excited about new developments in design and technology and how this will introduce innovative ways of communicating and creatingLocked Pro Plan feature
Collaborative team project between 2nd-year interior design and fashion marketing Falmouth University students. My team won the competition to develop, design and brand a pop-up event for London design festival. Sponsored by Campaign Design and Corian Design to create a future of retail experience. The event took in total 9 months to go from pitch to reality, and the project was presented at the London Design Festival. The project was challenging and introduced me to a new world of conceptual design and really pushed to be flexible, to think outside the box, and to keep myself the team's motivation up throughout. My role in the project involved being in charge of helping conceptualise the event and design, branding aesthetic, presentation, press pack, social media page and general PR.
3 month remote internship during the 2nd year of University involved finding new ways of reaching new followers on Instagram. I researched and pitched ideas to the magazine for Instagram stories and create new content. One of these pitches, having influencer Instagram story take-overs, was taken on board, and then my job was to be in charge of finding influencers to do ‘take-over’ stories. The most successful moment was having beauty blogger @Nyané send Paris Fashion Week content.
Helping with invitations, social media, event organisation, greeting guests and general preparations for Clio Peppiatt presentation at London Fashion Week
On a 3-year course, where I have gained experience working in marketing, branding, PR, styling, article writing, editing, forecasting and concept design. University has really given me a golden opportunity to experiment. The projects I have connected with involve conceptualising innovative design and developing brand aesthetic, coming up with creative solutions and conceptual design. Would be a path I would love to continue exploring in future carrier.
