About me
I am a highly motivated & inquisitive designer and developer, currently focusing on the sportswear accessories market, with previous experience at brands such as Allsaints, SSC, McQ, Burberry, Preen & Xiao Li. I graduated with a High First in Fashion Design Womenswear (2017) from Nottingham Trent University and I have many relevant & transferable skills covering areas such as design research, 3D silhouette development, efficiently leading a team and multi-tasking various projects.
Projects

Vivienne Westwood / Save Our Seas Foundation collaborative shoes & bags self negotiated projectTHE COLLECTION FUSES CLASSIC WESTWOOD ELEMENTS & THE DESTRUCTION WE AS HUMANS ARE CAUSING TO THE OCEANS THROUGH PLASTIC POLLUTION. THE PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED WITH LONGEVITY & PLASTIC FREE & RECYCLED MATERIALS AS A KEY COMPONENT TO PUT A STOP TO THE OCEANS DEVASTATION. 50% OF PROFITS DONATED TO SAVE OUR SEAS FOUNDATION.
  • Graduate Collection at Graduate Fashion Week 2017
Graduate Collection at Graduate Fashion Week 2017This was the collection I created for my final year collection during my degree in Fashion Design at Nottingham Trend university. I was inspired by 17th & 18th century painted photos of Geishas & prostitutes; to the untrained eye they look extremely similar but the finer details reveal their differences. The realities of their lives are a stark contrast.
  • Mini self negotiated Pangaia accessories project
Mini self negotiated Pangaia accessories projectThese products were designed to aid customers to achieve their goals, through interchangeability and ultra-functionality. It is inspired by "the new normal" and our adjusted lifestyles, with an enhanced appreciated for the outdoors and subsequently, using physical activity instead of public transport. I have been conscious to incorporate the distinctive Pangaia style and embracing their environmental values in the material & dye choices.
  • FISHERMAN BAGS PROJECT
FISHERMAN BAGS PROJECTThis is a self negotiated project I carried out, after taking photos of fishing equipment in a seaside town in Suffolk, taking silhouettes, detailing & material inspiration from the imagery. The intention with this project was to create playful, creative & commercial pieces.
  • Aspinal of London Lady Penelope / Summer 20 capsule collection
Aspinal of London Lady Penelope / Summer 20 capsule collectionThis capsule collection is inspired by a selection of vintage “Lady P” magazine covers. Taking Aspinal’s core identity, colours & trims as well as referencing details from the covers and applying to card holders, evening bags, tote bags, top handle bags & key rings.
  • HIGH SUMMER 21 KEY TRENDS
HIGH SUMMER 21 KEY TRENDSThis is an accessories trend research project I did for a brand for High Summer 21, identifying the key trends for their market and how I would propose to best apply this to their product. The key themes I identified were 2021 being a year of celebration, revolution, reintroducing a “joy of dressing” as well as a massive drive for sustainability and nature appreciation.
