I am currently a Reception Manager for a global media and advertising agency called Wavemaker. This is a fast-paced role juggling several different duties. I am the first port of call for our clients when they visit our stunning London office. Alongside greeting clients and signing in clients, I am doing a variety of administrative duties as well as helping colleagues with any questions or queries.

I was previously employed at an Australasian retail store called Glassons. Glassons is an on-trend womenswear brand which caters to all ages from early teens to middle-aged women. My most recent position at Glassons was flagship store manager at the top store in New Zealand. My store had the highest annual turnover and the most foot traffic in the country, located in the heart of the Wellington CBD. This was an incredibly fast-paced role which covered a wide variety of day to day duties such as:
- Meeting and exceeding store sales targets
- Meeting and exceeding store KPI’s
- Rostering accordingly to given wage budgets
- Recruiting promising candidates through solo and group interviewing
- Merchandising/ Product placement within store
- Recognizing top selling product by volume and dollar value
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with my regional manager and H/O
- Training team members to meet and exceed sales targets and earn incentives
- Development and succession plans for my team members
- Coaching/ counselling documentations with team members
- Driving the team to monthly and quarterly successes
- Customer service down to a fine art, handling returns, complaints and compliments
