About me
Emma Grace has recently graduated from the University of Bolton with First Class Honours, specialising in designing for the interior design market. Drawing influence from a large range of sources, Emma is inspired largely by nature and urban cities, with an extremely varied portfolio. Emma Grace is equipped with an excellent range of skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment working to strict deadlines and extremely self-motivated producing work of a high standard. Throughout her degree, Emma has developed her decorative illustrative style, and has become proficient at a number of digital programmes including Adobe and AVA, and has a hands-on approach, creating hand screen printed drops and experimental sampling in the print room. Emma’s style is varied, with excellent drawing and painting techniques, her work fits in with both traditional and contemporary markets. Throughout her studies, Emma has had the opportunity to work alongside two surface design companies, Surface Print and Shaw Contract Flooring, creating collections for both. During these projects, she also had the privilege to present her portfolio to two industry experts. Being extremely passionate about the surface design industry, Emma has visited 5 trade shows, both here in the UK as well as in Italy and New York, she has also been fortunate enough to have her work presented at two tradeshows, the Surface Design Show in London and Heimtextil in Frankfurt, with future plans to hold a solo exhibition in a London showroom later this year. Emma has really enjoyed developing her skills and experience through university and is ready to put into practice what she has learned through a graduate design position.
