• Design and manage both menswear and womenswear • Work closely with the creative director from concept to completion • Provide the creative vision that is implemented through all departments, setting the standard for quality and brand definition each season • Create inspirational and fashion forward collections, whilst having an astute commercial awareness and strong understanding of competitor activity • Oversee special projects in-line with the company brief, business plan and critical path, including an exclusive Mr. Porter capsule and artist collaborations
• Consulted on the expansion of their homeware accessories range, including design direction, fabric selection, factory sourcing and cad illustrations
• Introduced their first full womenswear range, and defined the core female customer • Successfully elevated the core product and introduced a full range for both men’s and women’s • Worked as the sole designer across jersey, knitwear, wovens and accessories, under the creative direction of Paula Gerbase • Biggest success was the license agreement with Anglobal Ltd. for the Japanese market, established from the collections I designed
Wrote articles for the debut issue of Blanc Magazine, after completing a fashion journalism course in London led by Harriet Worsley
• Recruited to the Weekend line at MaxMara, Italy • Designed across the wovens, jersey and accessories over 4 collections a year • Involved in the complete design process; theme, colour and print, fittings of new seasonal styles, in-house presentation of each collection • Assisted on campaign shoots set on various locations twice a year • Became a key member of an already dynamic team
