About me
An accomplished Head of Design with 15 years’ experience working across menswear and womenswear. A creative thinker and problem solver who understands product and has an innate sense of colour and detail, focused on carrying a brand from conception through to fruition with ambitious execution. With additional experience in fashion journalism, styling and branding, I provide a holistic and driven view on the creative process and art of making fashion, specialised in developing a brands DNA and storytelling. Strong leader with a collaborative management style, capable of working with a significant degree of autonomy, and a willingness to take the initiative. Showing great resilience and flexibility in an often complex and fluid business. Highly skilled and motivated design professional with a first-class Honours degree in Fashion Design from Kingston University.
Projects
  • Folk SS20 Campaign
Folk SS20 CampaignAnni Albers approach to textile development and exploration of fibres and the loom, inspired a tactile collection with modernity and craft at its core
  • Folk x Goss Brothers + Folk AW19 Campaign
Folk x Goss Brothers + Folk AW19 CampaignA collaboration for AW19 Pre and Main started from a set of paintings created by the Goss Brothers, telling the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. These became a set of painterly prints with a playful nod to other-worldly literature.
  • Folk SS19 Campaign + Folk x Alfie Kungu
Folk SS19 Campaign + Folk x Alfie KunguCurated a disruptive range full of fun juxtaposing textures, vivid colours, bold patterns and prints, influenced by the spirit of subculture. Collaborated with London based painter Alfie Kungu, to create a bold art-infused capsule with energetic application and brave use of colour.
  • Folk AW18 Lookbook and Fraction Edit
Folk AW18 Lookbook and Fraction EditRyoji Ikeda inspired a collection based around endless reams of visual data; numbers, 3D grids, flickering patterns and electronic blips. The crashing digital surf is complex, but within it is simplicity and beauty.
  • Folk SS18 Campaign
Folk SS18 CampaignAgnes Martin’s only completed and rarely screened film Gabriel 1976, inspired a collection based around nature, freedom and texture
  • Sunspel AW16 Campaign
Sunspel AW16 CampaignExpanded the range and introduced more wovens into the collection with a focus on colour, texture and softness
