About me
Emma Tunbridge
Emma’s images are defined by their strong sense of personality, fun and of energy. She strives to bring authentic emotion and animation to her pictures by involving her sitters in games and stories as they stand in front of the camera.
Emma moved to London in 2006 where she assisted some of London’s biggest photographers. The experience has stood her in good stead, and has helped to form the photographer she is now.
In 2011, Emma started to shoot commercially in her own right and has already built up a loyal client base, such as Argos, Littlewoods, Mothercare, Stellina Baby, Their Nibs, Bamboo Baby and Ellovie Kids.
She has had the front cover of Baby and Me as well as online editorials with Babiekins and La Petite Magazine.
"Children, for me are the best subject. I love working with them and enjoy that there are real, animated, brilliant little stories that are just waiting to be told"

- Equal Lens: meet 100 women photographersAn equal shot for women photographers After looking through the books of over 70 leading commercial photography agents, we found that women accounted for less than 25% of those represented. This isn’t because of a lack of talent, or a lack of desire from agents, creative agencies or clients. It’s a structural problem that must be addressed with big collective actions, such as an industry-wide commitment to always include women photographers on the lists that clients and agencies select from.119
