About me
Recent Interior Architecture and Design Graduate from Nottingham Trent University. The experience we gain from a space has always intrigued me. How we live and work is dictated by the environment and the space in which we find ourselves. University has opened my eyes to the simple manipulation of space through light and planes. My experience of the power of light within a space has developed during the course of my studies. I have been able to develop my ideas as a designer further as a result of a 1-year placement with Found Associates. I am excited about immersing myself in the world of design, where I hope to continue to learn and develop into an experienced designer.
Projects
  • Model Making
    Model Making
  • Project 1
Project 1To give people an unforgettable experience in an everyday location. To create an experience which excites the senses and sparks the imagination. Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham. Light fills the shell of the bridge leading you through the space and drawing you to the source of light; allowing views onto the street below and a skylight opening up views to the sky above. It turns an unloved footbridge into a visionary experience through the use of light. Two angular forms intersect the bridge and disperse through the structure.
  • Project 2
Project 2To design a new retail experience for Technology at John Lewis, creating a new concept that will excite the tech-savvy and reassure the technophobe. Oxford Street, London. The concept aims to display technology goods on the market today in a way that allows the customer to get a feel for how these technologies can be integrated within the household before leaving the shop. Technology is being applied to how we live in a variety of ways, relating the product to its use within the home will give insight into the intended purpose of a product. A frame connects the space with technology as well as outlining the relationship between the technologies available.
