About me
Hello, I would like to bring my energy and enthusiasm for the cultural industries - art, architecture, design and craft, through focused project management. I seek to bring all people across all ages to new creative situations; extending audience + participant experiences by challanging the cultural norms of our communities through collaboration. Comfortable communicating and balancing client briefs, budgets and risk across organisations, I deliver the highest standard of exhibition, project and event management.

The Danger TreeThe Danger Tree, commemorated World War I’s most iconic poets using the latest technology in augmented reality to weave poetry, animation and music into traditional art. Each painting in the poignant exhibition told an immersive story of the soldiers who fought and fell in the Great War between 1914 and 1918. A rolling exhibition programme for SEW ShowroomI developed and managed an exhibition programme across a period of 2 years which reflected the unique nature of an architectural practice which combines architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. [Re]Working London - Living with Industry, 01 – 30 June, 2018On behalf of Studio Egret West I managed the curation of an exhibition exploring the future of urban living and industry in London, as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2018 which explored the theme of 'identity'. My approach seeks to achieve a visual language, testing and resetting the creative process by bringing together the many factions an exhibition, debate, show requires for successful delivery. The very practical manifestation of my approach is ensuring that Studio Egret Wests propositions are turned into tangible projects, where the context and content is successfully delivered as part of their annual exhibition programme. This takes place in specific Showroom space, a place that acts as a platform for interchange and dialogue with clients, peers and the public.

I joined SEW in 2017 to provide maternity cover as their Studio Manager. Utilising my experience and understanding of project delivery and management I was able to slip into this role which required day to day Studio management including responsiblity for employees, facilities, H&S, HR and financial processing. Examples are but not exclusively: Supplying in and resourcing the practical running of the Studio from Contractors, to 3rd parties e.g. Courier, Caretakers, Caterers, temporary staff; HR responsibilities included recruitment, employee contracts, inductions, 6 monthly reviews, updating of staff policies and maintaining of employee handbook, ensuring industry accreditations and recognised standards are upheld, annual insurances. To organising annual trips, and social events. Towards the end of this maternity cover I was approached to reactivate their inhouse Studio Showroom which grew into a permanent exhibition space for promoting their propositions. A new annual programme was conceived to research, question, promote and showcase SEW work, and which became my next project.
