About me

I am an illustrator, artist, and graphic designer, and I studied art, literature, and illustration at the University of Gothenburg. I paint, illustrate, and write from my studio on Ringön, an industrial and creative area in Gothenburg. I am recognized for my editorial illustrations in Dagens Nyheter, Göteborgs-Posten, Kommunalarbetaren, Tidningen Arbetet, Faktum, and Skriva. Shortlisted for the 2021 World Illustration Awards and longlisted in the same competition in 2023. As a graphic designer, I am well known for my work at Göteborg Film Festival. My wall paintings with girls tackling everyday relations can be enjoyed around Gothenburg.

• Addis afro – painting the scene "Get Out!"Addis afro is a book written by Jali Madi Susso and illustrated by Felicia Fortes. Published Jan 2024 by Bonnier Carlsen in Sweden. This is a time-lapse from Felicia Fortes’ studio as she is working on the book. Music by Alfons Mitić.
• ¡Viva México!Illustrations for the exhibition ¡Viva México! by The National Museums of World Culture. Illustrations for the exhibition ¡Viva México! at The Museum of World Culture (Världskulturmuseet) in Gothenburg. When doing this commission I got a lot of research material from the theme behind the exhibition and I complemented it with visual input from Mexican arts and crafts, both old and new.
