  • Barbara Bakes
    Barbara BakesAn identity designed for a baker's stall in a local Christmas fare. The client wanted an identity specifically for the seasonal sales but also a logo that she could use all year round. I created an identity with character and bold colour to capture the clients personality. The client baked from home and embraced imperfections and a less corporate approach to her business, a tone I wanted to capture in the illustration. I created garland and signs for the table, labels for cakes and puddings and

  • Diminished Authority
    Diminished AuthorityI wrote an essay on the over-sexualisation of women in society. Inspired by this essay I created a catalogue which explored this topic in three sections; lifestyle, advertising and gender roles. I deconstructed image and text found in advertising and used quotes and portraits to let the viewer see the image and text for what they are.

    The C WordThe C Word is a campaign for consensual sex aimed at students. The campaign is designed to raise awareness and start a conversation surrounding sexual consent in a positive light. The aim of this campaign is to rid any embarrassment when speaking about the subject of consent and encourage students to be open and honest when dealing with the issue.
  • Die Zauberflote
    Die ZauberfloteA poster and booklet created for an opera 'Die Zauberflöte'. There are many themes within the opera but I chose to focus on the coming of age theme. The poster takes focus on one of the lead characters Pamina. This character, although central to the story, is often used as a plot device serving other characters. I created a poster that takes focus on Pamina's experience through the coming of age theme, the poster is striking and captures a moment in time.
