About me
I’m a freelance journalist based in London and reporting from all corners of the globe. I write features on human interest, women’s equality, culture and travel, particularly in the developing world or with a sustainability or humanitarian focus. I'm content editor for Modern Women, a multimedia platform to support women in business via networking events, webinars, podcasts, inspirational and educational panel talks, and in-depth written content. I’m also UK market editor for the content arm of Skyscanner, the flight-booking service with 10 million unique hits per month. For them I commission, edit, write and upload timely, trend-led and human-interest travel features. Previously, I was a features writer at The Wharf, Reach PLC; deputy editor at b.inspired by Brussels Airlines, Ink; associate editor at easyJet Traveller, Ink; and staff writer at France Media Group and Resource media. As a freelance journalist I’ve written for Conde Nast Traveller, The Telegraph, The Independent, Time Out, Mixmag, Skyscanner, Eventbrite, International Business Times and New Internationalist - as well as the inflight magazines for Virgin Atlantic, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Wizz Air and Norwegian Airlines. I’ve been commissioned to write case studies for the women’s rights charity Rosa as well as a political analysis report for Lloyds Banking Group, on the landscape for women entrepreneurs in the UK, for an MP round table held at the House of Commons in February 2019.
