About me
For the past 3 years I have been working in different areas of production, either for Art Exhibitions, Fashion shows, Video and Photography, from personal projects to freelance.
My roles were usually pretty flexible in terms of tasks because I’ve always felt that by learning a bit of everything you end up being a connection on the team and focus on passing the ideas around while making sure everyone is on the same page.
In the past year I’ve been working for MAAT museum in Lisbon as an exhibition tour guide and as an exhibition production researcher for the tours. This role gave me a lot of new tools, responsibilities and a big understanding of how to process the set up and opening of an exhibition, specially in terms of the content that it’s presented and how to clarify it for the viewers. From rewriting artists statements to write the tour guide documents for anyone who is giving tours.
I really enjoy working in teams and being able to contribute to a bigger purpose/project. Learning from other professionals and also get to share what I’ve learned motivates me a lot.
Communication and honesty are key aspects in life, specially when working so that everything and everyone is on track with whats going on. I’m very responsible and I’m looking forward to jobs that give more responsibility.
