Hi, I'm Franklyn Telfer also known as Frankie. I am an abstract artist and a textile designer with an interest in both fashion and interiors. I was born in London but my heritage stems from Ghana. Most of my artwork is inspired by African culture. My design abilities stretch beyond surface print but a deep-rooted passion for creating collections using CAD.

  FINAL MAJOR PROJECT (DEGREE COLLECTION)DESIGNERS STATEMENT The concept of this project stems from ‘Sankofa’, an ancestral word in the Twi language of Ghana (the Akan tribe) which translates to ''Go back and get it'' (San- to return; Ko- to go, Fa- to seek and take).
