About me
It’s lovely to meet you, I’m Freya, a graphic designer originally from Glasgow but have lived all around the world including Kyrgyzstan, Cyprus, Shropshire and now Cornwall for the past four years. I studied at Falmouth University and graduated with a First Class in BA (Hons) Graphic Design but loved the coast so much that I extended my time in the South working as a freelance designer. This exposure to so much culture and the wonders of the world has simply fed my appetite for travel, investing my time in people and has also led me to learn the French and Russian language. I have been able to combine this passion with my love for design, whether it be photography, editorial or branding. Taking a lot of my inspiration from my surroundings, I have a desire to identify and solve real life problems through creative and well-crafted solutions.

It was a true honour to be contacted by Something More again, where I had interned two years prior. Since January, I have been hired as a freelance graphic designer to help the team with a range of projects. This role has been a great opportunity for me, one that holds a lot of responsibility and allows me creative freedom across editorial, branding and digital design platforms.

After graduating Falmouth University, I landed my first job, hired as a graphic designer on a freelance basis for Fabric Design. In partnership with studio founder, Billy Paine, this role has been incredibly valuable and fulfilling in that I have been given great responsibility on a wide range of briefs. Developing my skills in branding, typography, web design, case study work, editorial and illustration, I can assure that this job has taught me a lot about the design industry.
