  Narrative - Lost // Handmade Book Brief Pick from four topics as the theme for the book and from that theme use a related personal story. With the story create a book that shows the story not just with the words but with the physical book: how you read and use it. Explanation I chose loss, the loss of my grandfather in Jamaica. When he passed away it didn’t feel like he was gone because he was so far away, so when I went back to Jamaica and saw his bed empty I finally realised he was gone. • YCN Student Awards - BEAR yoyo cardsExplanation The theme I chose was art and design as I believe they are under appreciated in schools and not seen as appropriate careers. People are constantly surrounded by art and design and children create their own artwork from their untamed imagination. Story BEAR needs to decorate their cave so is on the hunt for the best, craziest and unique art from around the globe.
