I’m George, a UK-based graphic designer specialising in logo design, branding and print. Over the years I have worked with companies of all sizes within various industries to help create, shape and evolve their brands for both print and digital media. Having spent 10 years in the industry—and living in the midst of a global pandemic—I decided it was time to pursue my lifelong ambition of going freelance, so here I am today!

- Shell Energy Retail Ltd projetcsStarting in 2018, I spent three years in the Shell Energy brand team as a senior graphic designer leading and contributing to various projects and campaign that were run across both online and offline channels. I was responsible for the design of engaging, best practice creative solutions across all Shell Energy communications and marketing campaigns, to ensure a clear, strong and consistent visual representation of the Shell Energy brand.
- Mash MediaI worked in the design team for Mash Media for 5 years, where I was the creative lead on various projects, from the branding of B2B exhibitions, awards evenings and many other events within the conference and exhibitions industry. I also led the design and implementation of a full rebrand of the business back in 2017. As my first branding job of this scale, I learnt a lot about how a brand identity is more than just a logo, it’s what makes you truly unique and forms the relationship between your
- Personal trainer logo and brand design project 2021For this project, I needed to generate a logo for a personal trainer. I wanted his logo to be unique, cutting edge and memorable. I created a symbol by placing his initials within a kettlebell icon, and accompanied it with a modern and clean san serif typeface to bring the logo together. Showing the new logo across different applications really helped my client visualise the future of his brand.

I worked closely with the Shell Marketing Team and the Design Lead, acting as a brand guardian to help shape, refine and evolve the direction and application of the Shell Energy brand. Additionally, I was responsible for designing engaging, best practice creative solutions across all Shell Energy communications and marketing campaigns, to ensure a clear, strong and consistent visual presentation of the Shell Energy brand.
My responsibilities included creating, editing and implementing designs for internal and external communications and marketing materials over a wide range of materials and channels. This included, but was not limited to, email marketing campaigns, digital banners, product and corporate brochures, press ads, posters, print banners, sales assets, promotional items, presentations and templates, data visualisation, internal-use videos, website and application mobile assets, content development, event stands, and social media.
