- The Lunar ProjectSince the first Moon landing, it has emerged that the Moon is no longer a devoid of life. Recently, it was reported that cotton seeds, planted in a lunar mini biosphere experiment, had begun sprouting, and marks the first time any biological matter has been grown on the moon. With this in mind, I wanted the main theme of my design to revolve around the evolution of these new and unusual celestial plants that could eventually form another world. - JuxtapositionThe aim of this brief was to create a juxtaposition between two subjects; farm machinery and artificial. Material exploration played a huge part in this project, as I used a variety of sourced materials, and different constructive techniques to create different designs. These concepts could be used for display and set purposes, or translated on a bigger scale.
