I am a highly creative but commercially driven individual.
With 3 years of delivering project excellence within a start-up environment for the interior design industry, I would love my next career move to be within a company that has the experience to back them and love what they do. When I joined Hostmaker there were around 50 employees which required my role to become extremely multi-faceted. I have learnt from and collaborated with many teams within Hostmaker.

Believing that a home should be an experiential retreat, full of discovery and little details, local makers, live demonstrations and workshops brought the space to life. For London Design Festival 2018, at Home with Hostmaker invited the travel-curious and style-conscious to attend their 'Open House' pop up event in Clerkenwell at The Roundhouse. Design project managerAt Home with Hostmaker

As the in-house design strand of Hostmaker that creates memorable experiences – our team had a unique knowledge of interiors that spoke to curious travellers. Inspired by travel, our team designed bold and characterful interiors to unlock the potential of every home. As the third team member to join the design team, we had full autonomy in making decisions which resulted in the creation of the sub brand - At Home with Hostmaker. We worked together to create design guidelines, which enabled us to grow the team to 15 people internationally, whilst keeping bold and characterful interiors at the core of what we do.
As a team we worked closely with some of the best independent makers to ensure our home interiors would show elements of discovery and it would bring back the joy people had when they stayed in someone’s home in their city. We wanted to create homes that had character and would go to antique markets and charity shops to ensure we picked up some really unique items.
As the first design project manager, I was solely responsible for the full project execution (procurement and installation) and client relationship management for FF&E, full and soft furnishings projects. I worked closely with 3 interior designers in-house and a selection of freelancers to manage their workflow and to ensure customer briefs were correctly executed on time and to budget. On average managing 5 live projects weekly, which were at different design stages, this resulted in being extremely meticulous to ensure successful execution for each project.
Wholly responsible for project managing the execution of a two week long “Open House” event for London Design Festival 2018, whereby I selected the site, worked alongside a PR agency, carefully selected the correct suppliers to showcase our interiors and coordinated the installation and logistics. “Open House” showcased 3 design room sets which were used as a PR tool to launch the new brand - At Home with Hostmaker.
