I'm a London-based, freelance graphic designer and art director with industry experience ranging from retail, tech, not for profit, financial, entertainment, arts, culture & heritage, business-to-business and telecommunications. My work spans across identity & branding, print, marketing, events, advertising, digital campaigns and UI/UX. I trained at London College of Communication (LCC), University of the Arts London (postgraduate 2011).
- The Marlowe Theatre: brochure designIn addition to the art direction and layout, I created a series of cover illustrations for the theatre’s spring brochure. The objective was to reflect the seasonal tone of spring by utilising colour and expanding on the brand’s existing visual language, namely the geometric shards of the logo.
- Open Garden: Marketing CampaignMarketing campaign for an Axciom service, ‘Open Garden’ – a marketing ecosystem that combines data from various platforms, partners, and channels to deliver a personalised service for their clients. My solution for this brief was based around the idea of a mosiac i.e. a combination of diverse patterns to create a coherent whole. Just as the service is built from combinations of many data sources, all design elements are built from combinations of component patterns.
- Canal Cafe, London: American Season marketing campaignMarketing campaign and accompanying collateral for a season of American plays running at the Canal Cafe Theatre, London. The theatre ran a series of American plays with the aim of dissecting and analysing American culture. The campaign concept mirrored this objective by de-constructing and rearranging the elements of the US flag; these tactics were also applied to the campaign’s typography.
