Dedicated Footwear Designer with a strong background in Graphic Design. Very influenced by twentieth century visual culture (specially dada, surrealism, pop and postmodernity) with a special interest in identifying society’s expectations regarding fashion, trying to understand and anticipate them.

- SiemprevivaShoes for Lisle Von Rhuman. Robert Zemeckis’ 1992 camp masterpiece “Death Becomes Her” has always fascinated me, specially its female characters. Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn look glorious throughout the movie but, as a child, the witch portrayed by Isabella Rossellini was always my favourite. - I ♡ COLOR CARDSThe leather and shoemaking industries that I adore with a passion are currently, like all other businesses, struggling to stay operative during this unprecedented crisis. - Arts&CraftsIn times of confinement and isolation I started thinking about going back to making shoes by myself at home, kind of like what it was back at London College of Fashion’s Cordwainers workshop but without any help from its wonderful technicians. That thought reminded me of William Morris and his initiative, in the middle of the Industrial Revolution, of going back to artisanal handcrafted products to fight the repetitive automatic aesthetic he despised. - Designing the EPILOGUE for the PostmodernCabinetOfGayCuriositiesMy final collection at the BA (Hons) in Cordwainers Footwear revolved around the gay heroes who died of AIDS in the early years of the plague. This EPILOGUE is an homage to those in their lives who had to live through the pain of losing their beloved friends far too soon, and dealt with an immeasurable amount of grief. Incredible women and genderfluid individuals such as Pat Cleveland, Jerry Hall, Rossella Jardini, Scarlett Cannon, Princess Julia, Liza Minelli, Bianca Jagger, Joey Arias, RuPaul.
