Managing all communications for Alserkal Avenue and A4 community space, to promote and build the image of Alserkal Avenue, its Founder, the Director, and A4 Space. www.alserkalavenue.ae Responsibilities: • Ensure brand consistency across all communications. • Build, plan & execute all digital communications. • Identify and maintain effective relationships with key cultural, educational, touristic and governmental organisations, both local and international. • Manage workflow of Communications Executive and interns. • Manage press itineraries and trips to Alserkal Avenue. • Local and International PR liaison for press and PR agencies. • Plan & manage photography and videography services for events/projects. • Forecast and manage annual departmental budgets. • Identify/manage VIP and press guest lists for the Avenue’s special events locally and internationally. • Participate in and represent the Avenue at regular international arts events: The 56th Venice Biennale, Frieze London, Milan Expo, Art International Istanbul, Shubbak Festival London and Homeworks 7 in Beirut. • Facilitate and strengthen ties with VIPs and Diplomats within UAE. Key Achievements: • Implementing a new social media strategy for the Alserkal Avenue platform which increased followers and likes by 120%. • Facilitated 500+ local and international articles in major publications for Alserkal Avenue including BBC Radio, The Telegraph and The New York Times worth approx. AED 200,000,000+ in 2015 alone. • Local, regional, international press tours increased by av. three per month.
