- A Contemporary Insight Into The World Of BalletUntil recently ballet has been a predominately white industry, neglecting those of colour and preventing opportunities for them to thrive. Women of colour deserve a platform to have their voice heard and shed light on a topic which until recently has been in the shadows. - Kingston University’s Varsity 2020arsity is one of the biggest events in Kingston university’s sports calendar where Kingston Cougars challenge City University’s Wolf Pack. Prior to creating the artwork I organised a photo shoot of members from different sports teams for general artwork and those to be taken forward to be used as the faces of varsity.
