Projects
- HighwaymanThis was a third year film project I was working on, I was assigned a few shots on the film to remove certain things such as signs, tv antennas and just general clean up of shots. I've established a very quick and easy workflow within nuke to remove objects from shots which seems to work very well.
- Colour VFX ShotI was assigned at university to create a VFX shot that used colour in some way, this is what I came up with. I shot all of the footage myself using a Blackmagic Cinema Camera in RAW, I shot it in Falmouth, Cornwall. I used a luminance key to remove the sky and replace it with a matte painting I made in photoshop, I then in displaced the matte painting in 3D space to make the clouds look like they were moving. I then added some colour correction and a flare for the sun to finish it off.
- I am Dyslexic (Third Year Project)This was a short film I worked on for third years. I was assigned shots to composite within the short film, most of the assets were already made and animated for me such as the environment geo and 2D character, all I had to do was composite them all together and create shadows for the characters. This shot was composited entirely within nuke, I created the 3D books within Maya. I'm unable to share the full film yet.
- Nuke 3D CompositingThis was a self made project to practice 3D compositing within Nuke, I used an old BB8 droid model I found from a company called getwrightonit who did a short london teaser for the upcoming star wars film. I learnt a lot from lighting, rendering and compositing the droid. I used Pixar's Renderman to render within Maya.
