About me

Creativity has always been a huge part of my life and is something I’m passionate about. Studying Interior Design at UAL helps me explore my design potential and develop my practices. This course gives me the opportunity to showcase my thoughts and skills in this sphere and allows me to be fully open with experimenting different topics and mediums. Furthermore, working different jobs has helped me expand my knowledge in customer service, communication, management and hospitality.

  Interior DesignThis project was about re inventing the rave scene. Usually such events are associated with drugs, so I wanted to create a drug free environment, where the effects of drugs could be experienced through the interior design of each room. I have done extensive research about such effects and what is felt through each drug. Needless so say, I do not have a stance on it. People are free to do whatever they feel like.   The Mirrored SunsetThis painting is 2.40m in width, and 70.50cm in height. It is a representation of a warm summer day, coming to an end. The colours encapsulate the end of a hot day, and the start of the night life. This is a light pause in the midst of a rowdy summer.

In the beginning of this job, I started off as a waitress. As I worked there quite often, especially in the summer, I quickly moved onto the bar. After being moved to work at the bar, I was promoted to be supervisor whenever I would be on shift. That included helping out my colleagues with any questions, and sorting out any issues on the day with customers and their wishes. That has helped me to learn to problem solve quickly. Furthermore, I dealt with event management and helped set up for any events during the day. That included quick designs for different styled parties.
