I am passionate about branding, packaging design, editorial and typography. I love to create imaginative and exciting new ideas from breaking down briefs and finding a strong core concept. I like working with mixed and traditional media and then incorporating that into designs where suited. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a First Class Honours Graphic Design degree, I was also chosen to exhibit my work at both New Designers and New Blood festivals in London.Locked Pro Plan feature
I work with The Barefaced Movement doing design work for ongoing clients that they have; which includes window display cards, newsletters, posters, mock-ups and different aspects for brands.
I shadowed the Art Director and helped the design team with ongoing projects they had. I sat in on briefs and offered design assistance where needed on multiple projects.
During the internship I was given the opportunity to work on several design projects within the company, some of which are now in place. I directed a photoshoot for one of their magazine adverts and designed the accompanying logo. I was a member of a team that presented suggestions and ideas for Schnucks to impliment, my team was chosen as the winners out of 6 teams.
My course involved working to deadlines and meeting specifications and brief requirements. I loved using both analog and digital media to create interesting, unique designs. My main areas of expertise are the Adobe suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects), Photography, and Typography. I received a commendation for their Equality award from Creative Conscience in 2018.
I received a Distinction in my foundation course at Man Met, and specialised in Graphic Design
