About me

I’m Izel Dugen, illustrator and digital storyteller based in Leeds, UK. My work is narrative and character-based and thematically responds to and investigates the abstraction of human relationships through technology. I am particularly interested in technology that seeks to create a simulacrum of romantic interaction, such as otome games and AI, and the metaverse. I am currently on the Channel 4 Content Creatives programme.

  POSTER DESIGN: SWAP SHOP! ☆This is a speculative poster design for a brief I worked on as part of my Content Creatives training at Channel 4. Our brief involved the rebrand of a fictitious outdoor clothing company, and the conceptualisation of a summer campaign. This is a poster I designed for a 'Swap Shop' event that was proposed as part of the campaign.   meet my little man: egg saladegg salad was birthed during my studies as the protagonist of my hypothetical AR dating simulated game. since then, he has become like my child, and his lore is so rich. most of drawings end of being of him and his princely AI lovebot ways. i just can't get enough here he is trying to avoid using the gatchapon after work
