About
As an Event Project Manager for the Future of Britain Conference 2023, I am responsible for planning and executing a large-scale event that showcases the vision of Britain's future. With over 10 years of experience in the events industry, I have developed a strong set of skills and competencies that enable me to deliver successful events that meet the needs and expectations of clients, stakeholders, and audiences.
Prior to this project, I worked as a Senior Project Manager for Creative Equals, where I managed inclusion and diversity projects for some of their clients. I organised virtual training programmes and conferences across international locations, including New York, London, Mumbai, and Australia. I also have experience in content planning, design management, and digital strategy, which I applied to create engaging and relevant content for the events.
My mission is to create impactful experiences that drive positive change and foster inclusivity in the events industry and beyond.
Projects
- Future of Britain• Took full ownership of the project, supported by internal teams, to ensure successful event delivery. • Managed relationships with venue, production partner, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination. • Attended regular meetings to update senior team and maintained project progress and timely delivery. • Effectively managed budgets up to £1 million and oversaw merchandising, printing, design, branding, catering, and security arrangements.
- Legends of Football• Coordinated a diverse range of activities including a formal dinner, auction, speeches, musical performances, and comedic acts. • Coordinated with event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality event experience • Organised and managed a large-scale event that was attended by over 500 sports stars, including Gareth Southgate and Ellen White. • Prepared event reports and tracked key performance indicators to measure event success
- Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust• Led inaugural charity fundraiser for The Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust, hosting 250 attendees at the Outernet venue in Soho. • Organised performances by Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, and Jessie Ware, with Terry Crews as the host. • Raised £100k+ through a successful raffle, contributing to fundraising goals. • Managed budgets, coordinated ticketing, oversaw creative design, and facilitated collaboration with sponsors, caterers, and AV/Production teams for seamless event coordination.
