Jade Williams is a video and digital artist living and working in Nottingham and Birmingham, UK. She graduated from Fine Art (BA) at Nottingham Trent University in 2015 with a First Class Honours. Jade’s work centers on the slippage between ‘real life’ and the URL, biological expectations of a woman and the acquisition and maintenance of romantic love online. She often finds herself in a slipstream between fantasy and reality, leading her to enquire into the necessity of transforming the self, in order to navigate an online space. As well as a practicing artist, Jade also leads curatorial research into the progression of dialogue, conversation and gesture due to the rapid expansion of the technological landscape, and what the future may hold for producing and showing art.Locked Pro Plan feature
