I’m Jaime Nunez, an all-round senior Art Director/CD with a passion for creating and communicating brand experiences. · I’m originally from Spain but I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the brightest minds of our industry in London, LA, New York and Amsterdam for brands like Adidas, PlayStation and British Airways. · I’ve won quite a few awards on the way and feel that after 14 years I’m still just getting started. · I’m a freelancer and I enjoy it. I love not knowing for certain which tube stop I’m going to get off at next Monday morning. I find meeting complete strangers, establishing a connection through a creative project and, through that project, creating a dialogue with an audience to be absolutely exhilarating.
- Interactive and Social BillboardA world first. We turned a London digital poster into live link with the Caribbean Passers by could talk to holidaymakers on a mystery beach via text to guess which island they were on. At the same time this was a way to educate the public about British Airways flight and holidays to the Caribbean. I came up with the idea, art-directed the project, filmed all the content for the reactive videos in the Caribbean plus helped pitch the idea to the client. CONTAGIOUS issue 27, DIRECTORY issue 19, Three Cannes Finalists, Campaign BIG Awards finalist, Two DMA Golds and two Silver winners. All the awards were in digital categories, including best innovation and best use of mobile phone.
- Campaign & videogamesWorking at AKQA Amsterdam creating from scratch a European-wide campaign to launch the new original Mini. It may be a new car from the ground up. But some things remain the same as the original. The fun. It’s heart. It’s soul. It’s still all there: built into every part. A Mini Mission Centre was developed where you could experience how the new Mini is true to the original. Here in the Centre you could take challenges to get a feel for the car. Every mission you complete gives you an entry to win a new original Mini for a year. I was responsible for the conceptualization of the campaign, the ideas & UX for the games and over all art direction. I got closely involved with the UX team that created the hybrid website and the games.

- VIRTUAL REALITY CLIMBING WALLYHA is not for everyone. But with their amazing locations, they are a natural fit people that love the great outdoors. As a not-for-profit organisation we didn't have huge budgets. So we're strategic with who, how and when we targeted people. We put Virtual Reality headsets at the top of 3 climbing walls in Sheffield, London and Surrey. When climbers wore them, they could experience what it would be like to be at the top of a real mountain climb. The breathtaking 360 images in the VR headsets
