DINNER FOR ONE HUNDREDCo-ordinated a team of professionals to create some magic in the form of a pop-up restaurant. (Video edited by myself using Adobe Premiere)
  • Dinner for One Hundred
Dinner for One HundredPhotos from the first Dinner for One Hundred. Devised with a friend from university. We took advantage of a cheap one-week leasing of a disused warehouse in Hackney. Put our initiatives together to create a pop-up restaurant serving 200 people split between two nights. Worked with architects to design and create Japanese folding screens to give all guests an intimate dining experience. Effective promotion enabled us to sell out all the tickets. • Cinnamon @ Off The Cuff
Cinnamon @ Off The CuffEvent poster / Facebook banner for latest Cinnamon event. For this project I directed a vision of how we wanted artwork to Betty. Efficient dialogue and Betty's expertise in illustration birthed one of my favourite Cinnamon posters. The night itself went on to be our most successful night, achieved through further promotional tactics, efficient organisation and effective communication, on top of the initial attraction of the poster itself.

Cinnamon - Party PicantePoster design and Facebook invitation art for Cinnamon, Party Picante! at Canavans, London. The second poster I have created with Bristol/London based dub events collective, Cinnamon. As the venue is primarily a pool club we used this for the basis of our inspiration alongside some of my characters. Felt tip on paper, December 2017.
  • Cinnamon - Pull Up Selector
Cinnamon - Pull Up SelectorPoster design and Facebook invitation art for Cinnamon, Pull Up Selector! at Cosies! Bristol. My first piece of work composed on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The third poster I have created with Bristol/London based dub events collective, Cinnamon. They approach me with a concept to bring to life, and this poster was influenced by the art on Dennis Star vinyls. Pencil sketch followed by Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, May 2018.

Pizzaiolo for the two-time winner of ‘best pizzeria in London’. Here I am fortifying transferrable skills: Exceptional organisation: anticipating a service rush, what stock is needed and when, and using leadership ability to assemble kitchen team’s roles. Mental strength and tenacity are obligatory in order to successfully execute a speedy service, as well as an acute attention to detail to produce consistently top-notch pizzas to their reputable standard within a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

I believe in the fundamental importance of bringing people together and combining food and music is the perfect way to do this. Networking, communication and negotiation skills enable an ideal venue to be secured each time. I collaborate with chefs to create an exciting menu, sell tickets through social media promotion, and plan budgets (equipment, staff, etc). All future events will donate a portion of profits to a local loneliness charity.

Achieved a 2:1. NO LOOKING, NO TALKING, NO TOUCHING: Masculinity in Male Public Toilets (2:1) Final Research project investigating how and why men behave when they use public toilets. Freelisting interviews uncovered ‘the rules’. Most salient rules were used for further investigation. Qualitative data then used to support relative, theoretically grounded literature in dissertation.
