About me
I am a Graphic Design graduate from the University of Hertfordshire. I am an artist at heart. I believe all art forms; be it music, design, writing, etcetera, are powerful and can impact the world immensely. Ultimately my goal is to contribute to that impact. I have always considered myself to be a creative and hardworking person. My fondness for design has grown substantially over the years; thanks to the various skills I have been lucky enough to learn and develop throughout my education. My design work majorly reflects me as an individual and mirrors my personality, like me it's colourful and bold. I'm constantly building my skills and adding my personal flair to projects in more exciting ways when it calls for it.
Projects
  • The Fierce & The Fiery (Competition Brief)
The Fierce & The Fiery (Competition Brief)We were briefed with creating a new campaign for Burger King to boost youth engagement. At the heart of the campaign is the idea that 'Fire is better' pertaining to the fact Burger King flame grills their burgers. I decided to characterise the Whopper Burger into a celebrity style figure who would have their own fiery personality interacting with people online. The Whopper would be supported by new packaging, tv ads
  • I Me Mine
I Me MineFor this project were given 6 questions to answer in an essay about graphic design, we were then tasked with turning this essay into any piece of design work we wanted to as long as it represented us. I choose to create a CD booklet as I listen to a lot of music and my first introduction into graphic design was with CD art.
  • The Gays Say
The Gays SayWe were briefed to design a 3 spread magazine based on a subculture of our choice. I chose to look at the Black LGBTQ Community. I named the magazine 'The Gays Say' this is because in a lot of instances trends are set by the black LGBTQ community but the community is not recognised or celebrated (I also chose the name because it's the way we speak in the community I used lots of culture specific phrases throughout the headlines and subtitles). The content in the magazine reflects this as I've in

I had the opportunity to have a work experience placement at UKTV for a week. I was shadowing various members in their promo production team. I learnt how to use new software such as Adobe After-Effects and AVID. I found that working with UKTV strengthened my work ethic, I became more punctual and better at giving and receiving criticism. Shadowing their design team was specifically great for me as it helped provide an insight into what work in the design industry can be like. Again, this job was very team oriented, each team was supported by the other and they all needed each other to create a successful final product.
