I graduated with a 1st Class Honours in BA Journalism from the London College of Communication and in 2017 received PRINCE2® Foundation certificate. I also manage a social enterprise art agency called DIFFRNT that showcases diverse emerging visual artists, through our events, online hub and YouTube channel. My skills include event management, project management, marketing, social media, communications, and strategy. Manage social enterprise art agency DIFFRNT which specialises in events and online platforms that showcase diverse emerging visual artists. Manage a team (graphic designer, brand ambassadors and event co-ordinators) to run bi-monthly events at Boxpark Shoreditch. Also work with project managers to run strategies to direct potential clients to website and YouTube series.
I handle all IT related communications, marketing and social media. The role involves working with designers to create print and digital content, communications and marketing material on behalf of the IT department for students and staff. I also work with IT Projects team and technical teams as a communication liaison to produce campaigns and manage and produce content on the website, intranet and social media.
Lead the organising of the art exhibition as part of MADE’s Youth Market. This role involved communicating, organising and updating artists through email and group chat. I also liaised with Livity staff to work with budget, stalls, fashion show, and promotion and with Pop Brixton staff to obtain floor plan and set up times. On the day I provided general support and help artists set up.
Worked at the editing agency Final Cut in the Client Services team. Shadowed social media team who also manage website content and answered calls, sent out all staff emails and assisted guests. Also prepared and organised editing rooms and checked on editor and client needs and replenished office supplies & ordered and general hospitality
Produced reports and promotional campaigns centred on artists represented by MTV and collated information on the status of several music videos and their position on charts. Also tracked artist’s coverage on MTV’s websites and social media platforms and attended meetings and conducted ad hoc research on festivals.
Worked in the Customer Services, Homeware and lastly the Café. Started in 2011 and also worked during the London 2012 Olympics games. Dealt with general customer queries, answering, calling customers and handled refunds, exchanges and ordering of products. Lastly advised customers and worked towards sale targets.
