I’m a freelance travel journalist and writer, specialising in adventures, the great outdoors and sustainable tourism. It’s not unusual to find me sleeping under the stars in the rainforest or bush walking in Zambia. I am the former editor of TNT Magazine.

  • Stronger than the Wave
Stronger than the WaveA feature documentary focused on the Michinoku Coastal Trail in Tohoku, Japan. Most known for one of the country's deadliest disasters - the 2011 earthquake and tsunami - the Tohoku trail has been re-developed over the last 10 years to encourage outside visitors to venture off the beaten track. The film explores the lengths to which individuals will identify with belonging to a localised landscape steeped in memory.
