The Sprint King has just won the award for Best Filmmaker at Wimbledon film festival and is currently BAFTA qualifying. TSK was completed in association with the Oscar award winning Framestore. Based on the gritty true story of Yorkshire jockey Dandy Nicholls and his horse SOBA, showing the dark side to the sport of kings, contrasting the drastic life style of the jockey with the glamour of the gambler. This underdog duo would take the racing world by storm and be crowned The Sprint King. This was shot on the RED Epic dragon and the Sony FS700 using Cooke S4i and Canon lenses. James lit the sets using ARRI lighting, Kino Flows and Dedos.
