Curriculum Vitae - January 2024
1990 - 1994
BA Hons Fine Art Sculpture, Central Saint Martins College Of Art, London
- It’s worth noting that in my 2nd year I created a sculpture of a full size ‘Airfix’ style kit made from a real race winning McLaren Formula 1 car driven by Ayrton Senna. This later sold for €185,000 at auction. In my 3rd year I went on to build several full size ‘self assemble toy’ dinosaur skeletons. These sculptures, along with the fact they were giant toys, became the starting point for three different career paths.
1994 - 2002
Co Presenter and Writer on SMart for Children’s BBC
- To cut a long story short, a scout from the BBC saw my giant toy sculptures at my degree show and asked me to take over from the legendary TV presenter Tony Hart. I was happiest writing and creating the content and to escape the spotlight my co presenters craved. I did however show my face on television for 8 years whilst writing and devising each episode. SMart had three spin off TV shows as well as live stage shows, annuals, magazines and products sold through BBC Worldwide. Yes, I worked with Morph.
1994 - 2009
Freelance Creative / Art Director / Branding creative : Sony Playstation / Levi’s / Spalding / Adidas / SKY / Orange / Ministry of Sound
- After my time in the spotlight I went into commercial world, here I made a load of great contacts that lead me onto other career diversions.
2005 - 2018
Founder - Lucky Seven Caps Ltd.
- When the internet was called the world wide web and e-commerce was a novel idea, I set up an online custom made baseball cap company that grew into something huge. As soon as Madonna was seen wearing a different one of my caps every single day, all the celebrities jumped on board and thankfully I sold the company in 2018. It now exists as a very different brand to the one I created but all good things…etc.

2008
Content Creator - Remedy Productions Limited, London
- After meeting the owners of Remedy Productions at the CADS award ceremony, I was given the job of devising and creating new content for their youth oriented TV shows for Channel 4 and E4.
2010
When Superstars Ruled The World solo exhibition, Lazarides gallery in LA.
- In just five months I raised the necessary sponsorship which allowed me to move to a warehouse in LA and build 15 life-size dinosaurs. Have a look at these films to understand the scale of the task and the show I created

2012 - 2018
Co-founder / Creative Director - Jamie’s Diner, Jamie Oliver Group
Creative Consultant : Fifteen, Food Revolution and Barbecoa
- Back in the day, Jamie would regularly get me involved with his many projects, something I was always more than happy to take on. The Diner was our collaboration ‘pop up’ restaurant that was so popular it stayed popped up for 6 years.

2016
Author / Creator - The World of Supersaurs
- My World Of Supersaurs is an alternative reality where dinosaurs somehow survived and humans evolved alongside them. What started out as a sketch of a cowboy riding a triceratops back at art school ended up as a major worldwide publishing deal to write a series of six novels. The books have now been translated in to 14 languages and will hopefully be a TV series. This continues to be a project which is very close to my heart and which I hope will grow and evolve even longer than my Supersaurs

2019 - 2020
Brand Consultant / Designer - Perfect Moment
- A fun job advising on a re-brand that evolved into designing a range of skis and accessories. Sadly, I’ll always be a snowboarder.
2020 - 2021
Consultant on pre-teens music market for DECCA Records
- Contributed to something known in the business as “Next Generation Consumption - Trends and Opportunities” which helps people in the music industry decide what the next big thing is.
2022 - present
Creative Designer & Curator: Formula 1 Exhibition
- My world goes full circle when F1 reach out to the chap who made that sculpture back in 1993... The F1 Exhibition is an official world wide, large capacity touring exhibition about the past, present and future of F1. Locations to date: Madrid, Vienna, Toronto, London.

Tasks include:
- Managing all the photographic libraries and individual photographers. I have dealt with enough photographers and agents over the years to know how to negotiate a good deal. Never use a rate card.
- Selecting and licensing all the photography. I have a good eye and know what makes something better.
- Devising and designing content. What’s interesting to an F1 fanatic is not interesting to a regular visitor - with a diverse demographic everything needs to strike the right balance.
- Creating composition decks for various design companies to work from, this was due to the scale and timeframe of the exhibition. Divide and conquer. With a project of this size and with so many venues and territories to consider, it requires a team of creatives to brief and control.
- Overseeing and approving the various design companies output. This has to be managed carefully and efficiently to avoid a too many cooks scenario.
- Personally undertook the smaller print design work as well as final amendments to the other design companies work. Sometimes it’s quicker / simpler to do things yourself.
- Managing the on site installation of the print work and practical snagging. Asking the printer to do it again….and properly this time.
- Helping devise and overseeing all social media output for the F1 Exhibition. Creating a clear voice to entice visitors to the show and create a buzz across all digital platforms.
- Now that everything has been set up in Europe and a second duplicate North American touring show is about to roll out, my continuing work revolves around tailoring these shows towards ongoing local audiences. As many of the cars and artefacts on display are unique there is also a need to constantly re-curate the show.
It’s been a lot of fun and hard work up to this point and I’m ready for a new challenge.
