About me
Carrer Summery: After graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art, where I gained recognition for creating 3D graffiti and full-sized toy sculptures of an F1 car and dinosaurs, I was recruited by the BBC to succeed Tony Hart as the writer and presenter of the children’s art show SMart. The show’s success led to three spin-off series, live touring shows, magazines, books, and merchandise. After eight years at the BBC, I shifted to a freelance career in commercial art and design, while also launching my own e-commerce brand, Lucky Seven Caps. During this period, I collaborated with street artist Banksy and, in 2010, held a solo exhibition in Beverly Hills, LA, showcasing 15 full-sized sculptures of my modern-day dinosaurs, which I named Supersaurs. Back in London in 2012, I partnered with Jamie Oliver to co-create the Dinersaur Diner pop-up in Piccadilly Circus, which remained a hit for nearly seven years. During this time, I expanded the Supersaurs concept into a fictional universe, culminating in a six-book series, The World of Supersaurs, published in 2017 and now available in 13 languages. As the Supersaurs series develops into a television adaptation, I’ve returned to Formula 1, contributing to the design and curation of their global touring exhibition—bringing my creative journey full circle to the large-scale sculptures that first defined my career at art college. Projects: 2022 – Present
Creative Designer & Curator – The Formula 1 Exhibition Reconnected with F1, following my earlier McLaren sculpture, to help curate and design the official world-wide touring exhibition about F1’s past, present, and future. Tasks include: Managing photographic libraries and working directly with photographers, leveraging years of experience to negotiate optimal deals. Selecting and licensing photography, ensuring high-quality visuals for the exhibition. Designing and devising content that resonates with both F1 fans and a broad, diverse audience. Creating composition decks for various design teams, overseeing their output to ensure consistency and efficiency. Personally handling smaller print design tasks and making final amendments to ensure quality and timely delivery. Co-managing the on-site installation process, overseeing print work, and ensuring accurate execution. Helping shape and manage social media output, establishing a strong digital presence to drive engagement and buzz. Curating the exhibition for local audiences as it tours internationally, ensuring each venue maintains a fresh and relevant presentation. Overseeing the creation of a second, duplicate North American touring show, adapting the exhibition to different locations and needs. 2024 – Present
Founder / Designer – Jay’s Caps Ltd. Returned to the cap business after six years, launching a new company from the ground up. Named the brand "Jay's Caps," the nickname often used for my previous brand, Lucky Seven Caps. Partnered with a Portuguese manufacturer with higher standards and traceability. Designed an exclusive cap style unique to the brand. Developed a distinctive website featuring photo-realistic animated CGI caps, maintaining full control over the visual presentation. Secured an investor to support growth and ramp up production in 2025. This remains a personal side project. 2020 – 2021

Focused on the growing pre-school children’s market, leveraging my experience as a parent and knowledge of children’s television. 2019 – 2020
Brand Consultant / Designer – Perfect Moment Hired by luxury ski wear brand Perfect Moment to oversee their rebrand, inspired by my work with Duotone Snowboards. Designed a range of skis, apparel, and accessories for the brand. The Covid-19 pandemic halted the project, and the planned rebrand became obsolete. 2015
Author / Creator – The World of Supersaurs Created The World of Supersaurs, an alternative reality where dinosaurs coexist with humans. The concept, which started as a sketch 20 years earlier evolved into a major publishing deal for six novels and potential TV series. In 2015, Bonnier Zaffre acquired the international publishing rights, while all other rights remained with me. Supersaurs imprint launched at the 2016 London Book Fair alongside a full-size sculpture of the books menacing Black Dwarf Tyrant. The first book, Raptors of Paradise, was launched at the Natural History Museum in London. All six books have been translated into 14 languages and enjoyed worldwide. The first two books had dedicated apps that brought all the books illustrations to life through augmented reality, something very ambitious and new at the time and gained recognition. Film rights were optioned to Working Title Films and later to Paramount Animation. Adapted the series into a screenplay for an eight-part live-action TV series, now with my film agent. 2012 – 2018

Developed content for Blippar bringing my dinosaur illustrations to life with augmented reality. Designed and sculpted a full-size tyrant dinosaur for book promotion. The structure features an internal metal framework, can be disassembled into sections for easy transport, and is designed to stand upright on two feet when assembled on-site. 2010
