  • Ryerson Art+Design Magazine (RADmag) was born out of a vision to create a medium of celebration, inspiration, and collaboration — Celebrate and showcase the work of students in Photography, Fashion, and Interior Design. Provide an outlet to inspire one another and the world at large. And aid in connecting students in these related visual disciplines, that often work in isolation on campus, even though we will likely be co-creators after graduation. Issues 00, 01 Conceptualized and led the creation of the magazine Established Visual Brand, Designed logo, website, layouts, promotional material Co-Produced issues for print and online Independently produced iPad edition Lobbied for on campus support, successfully secured funding from the Vice Provosts Office Led the planning and execution of all aspects of the magazine Developed holistic content strategies across platforms Established social media presences and developed complementary approaches to content on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Operated digital press for production of Issue 01 Issues 02, 03 Hired by Ryerson to continue leading magazines growth Established print production partnership with Colour Innovations Expanded stockists Presented pitches to on campus funding bodies, resulting in 775% budget growth Managed team, and oversaw staff growth to 30 team members Resource management: fiscal and intellectual Oversaw adherence to established brand across all platforms Oversaw the production of Issue 02 Initiated expanded marketing for audience growth initiatives across all platforms First launch event held off campus for Issue 02 in January 2015 at The Great Hall Mentored students as their roles grew within the magazine Awards: Issue 02 - Sappi Printing Awards, GOLD — Digital Printing Issue 02 - Gold Ink Awards, Pewter — Specialty Magazines, Sheetfed
