I free lance for my own business, working predominantly in fashion and commercial hair and makeup. I do editorial, runway, bridal, beauty and film. With 5 years experience I have gained an immense amount of valuable experience working in high pressure work environments. I am exceptional in my organisation and teamwork, as well as maintaining an enthusiastic, adaptable and positive work space.

Throughout my time as customer advisor, as well as all of my usual roles listed above, I was appointed the role of helping on the customers at the No7 Counters due to large volumes of customers. Whilst doing this, I was able to learn an extensive amount about the No7 products and advice customers on what would be best for them. This gave me an early insight into the technicality behind skincare as well as how important it is to understand the skin type that the product will be used on.

> I am currently in my third year at LCF after passing all my projects from the first and second year with flying colours. Our first year consisted of personal projects due to COVID-19, however my knowledge of the industry has increased dramatically, and I have gained more professional experience through photoshoots and collaborative projects. Receiving a mixture of A’s and B’s in my second year, I found myself encaptivated by my feedback as I tend to be a perfectionist. After each of my projects have been graded, I ensure to unpick my feedback generously and build upon my previous work to reach the highest standard of work possible. I am also an enthusiastic Course Rep Leader, meaning I represent my fellow peers, as well as highlighting issues within the course content and any general admin issues affecting the communication/delivery between students and teachers. I have been extremely successful in my role as a course rep, highlighting the lack of diversity and inclusivity within the delivery of the course, as well as the hair and makeup kits. I have equally created a safe space for students to talk when feeling disconnected from the course, as well as offering support to my peers when communication between the university and the students has been at an all-time low. I have had countless positive feedback on the time and care that I put into my role as a course rep, as I have always found myself to be somewhat of a activist whom loves to spark inspiring conversations and change.
