About me
Moving to the UK at the age of 8 from the Philippines, and living in 3 different cities, has enabled Jeonard to learn how to adapt to changes. He can speak 2 languages, English and Tagalog. His love of movies, tv, comics, music and video games, has heavily inspired his creative work. Jeonard is a versatile designer who collects extensive research around any given project, to ensure he produces work that is on the mark. Recently he has entered the D&AD New Blood Awards with a brief for RARE, an Xbox game studio in collaboration with 4 other creatives. He project-managed this collaboration, as well as producing graphic design content. He loves working with traditional and modern design techniques from letterpress and woodblock printing to digital and animation. He tries to combine the two from time to time whether it is for a branding client or a personal project. His aim is to work for a design agency where he can use his versatility effectively, working for different clients and creating solutions to design problems. He loves travelling, experiencing new things and drawing inspiration from them, and is keen to see where graphic design can take him.

  • My Mother's Recipe Book
My Mother's Recipe BookA recipe book dedicated to my mom who passed away in April 2020 from the COVID-19 virus. I found her book full of recipes that she used to bake and cook. I only included my favourite recipes and I translated her handwriting (which was very challenging!). I also took photos of the original pages and included it in the book. I plan to get the book printed and made to be given to friends and family. View the entire book on my website! https://www.jjvc.net/my-mothers-recipes
  • Tesco Condiments Rebrand and Repackaging Concept
Tesco Condiments Rebrand and Repackaging ConceptA university project that required me to rebrand a common set of items in a supermarket. I decided to rebrand and repackage the common condiments from tesco. Replacing the plastic bottle for a glass jar to produce less waste. Customers will have to bring their jars to get them refilled from stations in the store.
  • Socks & Sandals
Socks & SandalsA University project that required my class to design a magazine purely using Adobe InDesign. I decided to focus on streetwear. I named the magazine "Socks & Sandals" as it is always ridiculed to be the ugliest pairing for footwear. What most people don't know is that it's the most comfortable.
