About me
Having worked for publications such as Dazed and the Financial Times on their editorial teams respectively, I currently work for Dazed Studio, assisting on special projects. Elsewhere, I am a style contributor for the fashion app and website LYST. With both an MA and BA degree in journalism, I am an experienced writer with words published in Dazed, gal-dem, and the FT Life & Arts section. I work on a freelance basis and am open to commissions.

  • Oppose Magazine
Oppose MagazineOppose is a zine that offers a global take on gentrification form MA Arts and Lifestyle Journalism students and journalists at LCC. It looks at the problem of regeneration in London and beyond in serious and satirical ways - developers and hipsters, in particular, take the bashing. Is gentrification a process of social cleansing? As its name suggests, the zine adopts an oppositional stance to this idea and the way in which cities are being reshaped to disadvantage poorer communities.

My time as a journalism undergraduate at Bournemouth prepared me with the essential skills I needed to pursue a career in journalism. Throughout my three years there I became adept in editing radio and TV news packages using Adobe software, designing magazine pages on InDesign and secured my knowledge in reporting, researching, interviewing and shorthand.

I have just completed my masters in arts and lifestyle journalism and I have obtained a distinction. Doing a masters has provided me with knowledge of writing for cultural and artistic publications. My passion has always been arts and culture, and this master has allowed me to further my BA in Journalism.
