About me
Jessica Rice is a contemporary, British female photographer, who is continually exploring how to use the medium of photography to address issues indirectly through photographs, to impact how society perceives the world. Jessica has a tendency to document her subjects through the lens of a 35mm film camera, to give her the ability to create instantaneous, snapshot photographs. Embracing her passion for film, and the female form, she interrogates the relationship between photographer and subject, in order to achieve the best outcome from each shoot.

When photographing this final work, I used studio lighting and a 35mm camera on colour film with an ISO of 200
