About me
I'm a digital marketing specialist, largely focusing on the film and wider creative industries - with a key passion for those which center on the community aspect of this. I've also spent time as a videographer.
What sets me apart is I am most successful when given creative lead over full-scale campaigns amongst a small team. My skills are pretty varied, whether it's mining away behind Photoshop to create great visuals, delving into Google Analytics to get a wider understanding of source traffic, writing copy or doing a deep research dive into what content streams will work there - I thrive when involved in every step of the process.

We're a small team at SP, meaning I get to be involved with a huge range of tasks - as well as really getting to oversee campaigns from the top down.
At the moment, I co-lead the strategisation and management of all our social channels with my colleague Ana. This involves leading on design, collaborating on copy and scheduling all of our organic social channels (Facebook page, Facebook groups, Eventbrite, Twitter and Instagram), our monthly newsletter, our email marketing (through a combination of Campaign Monitor and our own mailer system), our blog-posts (ensuring these are SEO-optimized), our daily bulletin emails and Meta ads.
I also lead on all of our reporting, which I completely overhauled in Q4 2021 to include implementing an effective use of UTM tags to gain an understanding of traffic demographics and conversion rates per individual campaign (utilizing Google Analytics, bit.ly and bli.nk) as well as reporting on user engagement and funnels.
That's the primary purpose of my role, however, I also provide a lot of insight into the shape of our website, our campaigns and what we're doing (our competition, our events and the way our website functions for users.)

Media Studies BAUniversity of East Anglia

Studying at UEA was a great experience for me . Within Media Studies, I took courses on a wide breadth of topics, particularly focusing on film theory, production and marketing.
My course included 2 penultimate pieces.
For my written disseration, I focused upon the representation of queer transmasculinity within Dorian Electra's music videography.
For my creative practice, I produced 'Platforms', a 2-part docuseries which focused on Norwich's growing queer events scene and 2 artists within it. Originally, I had plans to take this to get funded, however due to COVID, a hard drive corruption, this is a project I have moved past.
