My optional “Brand Management” module enabled me to research and spot a gap in the market. This concluded in me creating a theoretical brand of sustainable baby care products designed for South Africa.

I was able to apply this knowledge to a live brief, where Avon Cosmetics had noticed a gap in the market within the “19 to 25” age range. I proposed approaching social media influencers because it was during a time when influencers were emerging and could easily set trends based on their opinions and social media following.
