Projects
  • Aleta
AletaPersonal project inspired by my years of working in the hospitality industry. I wanted to create a restaurant brand that not only served high quality, delicious food, but also took great steps to caring for the planet. The result of which – a zero waste, not-for-profit restaurant using sustainably sourced ingredients only. Aleta (translation: little winged one) delves into the world of the endangered Hawaiian Honeycreeper, one of many endangered species due to climate change. I used these beau
  • Mother Root 1
Mother Root 1Initial approach to a freelance packaging and identity brief for a new soft drink company based in Peckham. As the sole designer and illustrator I worked with the client on this alcohol-free soda branding to create a craft beer-esque aesthetic based on historic American folk tales.
  • Mother Root 2
Mother Root 2Second approach to the freelance packaging and identity brief for Mother Root. After assessing the drinks industry further the client decided to move into the more sophisticated market of cocktails and cocktail syrups. Due to this change in direction I worked with the client to create this medicinal style branding, using autumnal, natural tones for the colour palette we wanted the brand to feel as organic and wholesome as the ingredients are.
  • Brimstage Brewery
Brimstage BreweryPackaging redesign for a small brewery in the Wirral. The client wanted a fresh aesthetic to appeal to new customers, whilst keeping the ‘Real local character’ of the original designs and illustrations. Alongside the team at White Label UK I took inspiration from the Dazzle Ships camouflage of WW1 and created a pattern to roll out over each of the 8 profiles. More recently we were briefed to design a more modern looking can with the dazzle pattern at the forefront.
  • Halcyon
HalcyonPersonal project inspired by my love of travel and the natural wonders of the world. Here I have designed a travel magazine with a difference – instead of directing you to man-made holiday activities and destinations, I have hand picked natural phenomena (in this issue, all based in New Zealand) for the reader to explore. All photographs are my own.
  • Glimpse
GlimpseThe Picnic Project – Volunteer design and illustration for a community picnic hosted by Glimpse Collective. The idea was to each bring a blanket to a London location to create one giant, inclusive picnic in memory of Jo Cox. I created various collateral including social media assets, printed leaflets, web design and video content.
