Working closely with the two founders, I contribute to many areas of the label including leading digital marketing campaigns, managing budgets, A&R, creating label copy, dealing with licensing requests, overseeing the production of physical music products, running the online store and updating the social channels. I have worked on a number of EP and single releases, coordinating plans and timelines in conjunction with managers, distributors, PRs and radio pluggers to ensure we deliver impactful marketing campaigns that gain maximum exposure for our artists.
Initially starting as the music editor in an unpaid role in 2009, I have helped grow HUH. to become a popular style, design, art, music and film news website which now attracts 500,000 unique visitors a month. I update the site daily producing music and culture news articles, while also creating original content with curated weekly playlists, weekly music video selections and new music features. I regularly deliver advertorials and occasional larger editorial projects, with previous clients including Canon, AKG, Phillips, AirBnB and adidas. HUH. also has an online and physical clothing store, for which I mail out online orders, take deliveries at our office and provide helpful customer service via email and phone.
