About me
I am an aspiring illustrator looking to developing my skills and creative ambition in the real world. My main interests and influences are print design and gaming and I combine both aspects in my work. Even though the two things seem very different I’ve empirically developed a process of image making that bonds them both together creatively. My image making skillset does strongly align towards the aspects of Poster Design, Cover Design and Textures. I’m the type of designer who likes to think outside of the box, I am willing and ambitioned towards expanding commercially towards any design, print, product, or digital content that implements the visual aspects of composition and layouts. I am open minded towards supporting and learning from creative opportunities from active businesses and creatives that can help me persevere and develop professional connections in the field of art and design. In the meantime, of seeking a starting point, I still commit to my illustration practice by developing new techniques both analogue and digitally.

Libidos Of Action - Lights, Sound & Camera Angling - Final Major Project (2020) - Digital Battle Scroll DesignsMy Final Major Project empirically explores the additives of immersion inside action video games, categorised under the genres hack 'n' slash and beat 'em' up. My final pieces are digitally produced scroll print designs built from my own analogue interpretations of Chinese ink drawing. I have incorporated recordings of eye popping optical Illusion within game playing, that reveal textures manipulated through Adobe Photoshop. Each of the scroll designs is literally based on from following game
  • What Makes A Game A Good Ass Game? - Compulsion And Visual Exaggeration (2019)
What Makes A Game A Good Ass Game? - Compulsion And Visual Exaggeration (2019)This is my 3rd Year Uni SIP project outcomes which intially explores the present violence and visual exaggeration in the combat design of action games. I often compare it's visual absurdity to the Crazy 88's Scene in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol 1, using it as a reference for my Concertina Book. The Compulsion side of this project is centred around process of printmaking and playing a game. Both of these processes are addictive and get more and more fulfilling when caught up in the flow.
