About me
I am a Creative Music Technology graduate from the University of Salford (summer 2020) and I am looking to bring my creative, organisational and communication skills to any creative industry job role.
This is a challenging time for the creative industries, but adapting fast is part of what creatives do and I would like to be part of your future.
I am keen to make content/post production or behind the scenes on set or marketing (audio for media) so if there is any music for a project you are working on be sure to contact me.
I play the guitar and I am proficient in the music editing software Logic Pro X, studio recording, studio composition and music for TV and film, collaborating with artists and film students. I am fascinated by the studio recording and post-production process, bringing fine detail and individuality to a project.
During the pandemic lockdown, with the university recording studios and facilities closed, I returned home to complete my final year composition and audio for media projects in a bedroom studio after buying pieces of recording equipment myself. I consider this to be one of my biggest achievements and I believe it demonstrates my resilience, motivation and determination.
At university I also developed my interpersonal skills and adaptability by helping to organise an event night showcasing student and local artists. For this I worked within a team, with my role being to choose the venue, liaise with the artists and promote the event through social media.
My experience in the hospitality and retail industries has given me great people skills. I have been the friendly face welcoming customers and new colleagues and this is something I can take into A creative job role in this industry.
I spent many years as a scout and explorer scout, where I learned the importance of using my initiative and being part of a wider group.
As far as hobbies and activities go, I am interested in music, art, film and TV and sport, especially football. I am keen to stay in the Manchester area.
