About me
I am a Senior Creative / Art Director with extensive experience in the design and retail industry.
As Senior Designer for Boxpark, innovative street food and live events venue my work covers conceptualising and delivering impactful creative campaigns that meet the brand requirements across both print and digital mediums. As well as large scale campaigns and events, I cover regular weekly and monthly event creative as well as communications for all venues. With a keen interest in design trends creative compliments the concept of Boxpark - fusing the concepts of modern street food and placing local and global brands side by side to create a unique shopping, dining and events destination.
As Senior Designer for Harrods my work dealt with developing concepts and designs to ensure Harrods design creative and store image is innovative and fresh whilst maintaining a luxury aesthetic in marketing, CRM, in-store display and internal communications.
Previously Lead Multichannel Designer for Miss Selfridge and Senior Designer for Topshop Topman, leading global womenswear and menswear brands, my work dealt in youth culture, fashion, brand identity and development through a portfolio of projects, from global marketing and seasonal campaigns, glossy editorial shoots, magazines and look books to UK, EU and US large scale store openings, premium product packaging, and events in our worldwide marketplace.
I oversee the ideation and production of forward-thinking branding projects on complete project development, from concept, through design to production and – where possible – 3D installation alongside when needed, overseeing the use of assets to work on multichannel and digital platforms. I love to work with different materials and contemporary influences to create something brave, individual and truly engaging.
My creative approach is to not only answer each brief to the best possible standard, but to bring something different through new creative treatments and concepts. Ongoing research inside and outside of work allows me to challenge the norm and produce design that is engaging and targets key consumers. I love to bring in new innovation and trends, working individually and working collaboratively with other creatives that not only enhances the final product, but often achieves exciting and unexpected results, too.
I am known for my individual, friendly and professional approach, whether implementing improved working processes, building successful team structures, or coming up with the very best creative ideas in my work. Underpinning this is a genuine love of what I do and sharing this energy, positivity, and inspiration with others.
Work for clients and brands include Boxpark, Harrods, Miss Selfridge, Topshop Topman, The Body Shop, River Island, L’Oreal, Channel 4, Clarkes Shoes, Ben Sherman, Toolroom Records, Elizabeth Arden, London Collections: Men and Hed Kandi.
Projects
- Miss Selfridge Summer 19 CampaignDesign and art direction of Miss Selfridge’s Summer 19 campaign produced for all global market stores. With the campaign photography budget only enabling a indoor studio shoot this is a campaign where the design needed to work as hard as the photography to not only compliment each other but bring summer to life without being outdoors. Starting to make this combination something that is individual to Miss Selfridge the design concepts were started before the photography shoot with a theme in mind
