This internship was completed during a placement term for university. Here my role was to work alongside the in house creative at Wilhelmina London - where I helped design and produce the A/W 16 showpack. Additionally during my placement I took images of the models, kept their portfolios updated, and created promotional material for both Wilhelmina and the models.
Alongside my degree I worked as a freelance photographer for Bluebella lingerie, providing them with still life and lifestyle shots for their online content, including social media, email advertising and website, as well as for their look books. This gave me an understanding of how to provide work relevant to a particular brand's identity, whilst maintaining creativity and my own personal style.
As an intern at The Lingerie Edit event at the Savoy Hotel, my role was to assist designers and exhibitors with their stands, prepare products to be shown and assist buyers and press around the event. This gave me insight into an alternative area of the fashion industry and was an excellent networking opportunity.
My Responsibilities at Delphine Art entailed taking framing orders and assisting customers choosing framing and mounting, giving detailed and informed advice on framing, shop and art sales, wrapping up artwork, calling customers, creating invoices and statements and decorating and arranging the gallery.

Students will learn the technical skills of photography, whilst exploring images from haute couture to street style, from advertising campaigns to designer look-books, from art gallery to shop window and from fanzine to glossy magazine, and develop an analytical and critical view of global style and the cultural landscape of the fashion industry.
