I have just graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Journalism and New Media, with a minor in English Literature from the University of Limerick, Ireland. My course was really hands on and industry focused, preparing us for the fast paced and ever changing world of modern journalism, focusing on print, broadcast and digital media. It also included 8 months work experience, during which I was a Social Media Manager for the Regional Writing Centre. During my time at University I was a regular contributor and section editor to the campus newspaper, An Focal.
